Students at HSC

The student body at HSC is diverse exness, drawing from New Haven and surrounding areas. We take pride in being a school that encourages our students to be critical thinkers and to question the world around them. Through their work in and out of our school building, our students work to establish a strong educational foundation and a more just society.

HSC students also participate in a variety of enriching activities: Educational Center for the Arts, the Center for Creative Youth Summer Arts Residency at Wesleyan University, the University of New Haven Outstanding High School Senior Program, the New Haven All-City Honors Band , the Yale Peabody Evolutions Program, the Yale High School Cooperative Language Program, and more.
